Cooperation and Kindness Produce Good Results for Those Three Guys

Creamy Grey and Midnight were invited to collaborate in solving the mouse problem fpr Those Three Guys.

They were asked to Kill the Mouse!

But, as you see, Creamy Grey and Midnight have befriended Said Mouse and promised him cheese if he will leave the home of Those Three Guys.

Kitties are happy. Said Mouse is happy.

Those Three Guys? Well, they'll be happy, too, once they see that this change of plan has been a good thing for all.

Collaboration can produce good results.

Word for Today:
col.lab.o.rate
intr.v. col.lab.o.rat.ed, col.lab.o.rat.ing, col.lab.o.rates

1. To work together, especially in a joint intellectual effort. (a good thing to do)
2. To cooperate treasonably, as with an enemy occupation force in one's country. (this usage would mean a bad thing to do...treason)

[from Late Latin collabōrāre, from Latin com- together + labōrāre to work]

Thank you to my young friend, Poem Girl, for letting Kitties come visit. (I hope when Kitties arrive home she will have some cheese on hand for Said Mouse.) She and I have been collaborating...I do the drawing...she supplies the Kitties and ideas. And now she wants me to add Dogs! But I dunno...my sketch pad is pretty small...I'll have to practice drawing dogs.

Today's word?

  2. I'm glad the mouse agreed to leave. I always feel guilty when I put out traps.
